Duties:

• Participate in complex real estate finance transactions involving multifamily housing

• Draft and review transaction documents under the supervision of senior attorneys

• Conduct due diligence and title/survey reviews

• Coordinate closings and manage transaction timelines

• Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and opposing counsel

• Support partners and senior associates in structuring financing arrangements

• Stay current with legal developments in the real estate and lending sectors

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant legal experience

• Active license and good standing with the Washington, DC Bar

• Demonstrated interest or experience in real estate or finance transactions

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines under pressure

• Effective communication and analytical skills

• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Washington, DC

Skills:

• Strong research and drafting abilities

• Attention to detail and the ability to spot issues

• Proficiency in managing transaction workflows

• Commitment to client service and responsiveness

• Familiarity with real estate finance documentation is preferred
