Foley & Lardner is seeking an associate with 1-3 years of experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in our Orlando office. Foley’s Transactions Practice Group is integrated nationally and principally handles M&A and securities matters for publicly and privately held middle market/upper middle market companies, private equity funds, family offices and others. As a result, this position will involve working on US and international transactions with Foley lawyers in various Foley offices. Qualified candidates must have capital markets and public company advisory experience, M&A/transactional experience, in addition to general corporate and contract counseling experience. The ideal candidate also will have strong drafting and project management skills. The candidate must be comfortable with direct interaction with both senior partners and clients and have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic, coupled with a desire to be part of a fast-paced, growing and collaborative environment. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the Florida Bar.
