Part-Time Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper
The candidate will reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements. Reconcile monthly general ledger. Handle the printing and reporting of accounts payable check runs. Assist in billing/invoicing reconciliations. Assist in collection of past due balances. Post bi-weekly payroll to the general ledger. Compile financial information into a formatted budget statement for use in monthly/annual financial statement. Update and maintain spreadsheet templates used in generating the financial statements. Perform other duties, as assigned. An associate degree in accounting or other related experience required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP required. 2 years accounting experience required. Knowledge of TABS is a plus. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment required. Strong organizational skills required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving ability required. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality required. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel required.
