Duties

• Independently manage a caseload of tax resolution matters.
• Conduct consultations and analyze IRS and state tax transcripts.
• Develop and execute resolution strategies, including Offers in Compromise and Installment Agreements.
• Prepare and review financial disclosures.
• Communicate with Revenue Officers and state agencies.
• Negotiate resolutions with IRS and state taxing authorities.
• Maintain high standards of documentation and file management.
• Attend weekly networking meetings and build referral relationships.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar License (required, any state).
• 1+ years of experience in tax resolution or tax controversy preferred.
• Experience negotiating with IRS Revenue Officers.
• Strong understanding of IRS collections procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar License.
