Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Lending Associate in Florham Park, NJ. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in commercial lending, finance, corporate, and/or real estate transactions. They will join a dynamic team focused on commercial lending transactions.

Duties

• Manage complex commercial lending and real estate transactions.
• Draft, negotiate, and review commercial loan documents and corporate documentation.
• Review title work, surveys, and conduct due diligence for commercial lending and real estate matters.
• Assist with general corporate and commercial matters.
• Interact directly with clients.

Requirements

• 2+ years of large law firm transactional experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• New Jersey State Bar admission required (within 12 months of hiring).
• New York or Pennsylvania Bar admission is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional client service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• New Jersey State Bar admission required (within 12 months of hiring).
• New York or Pennsylvania Bar admission is a plus.
