Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. The position focuses on patent litigation and offers the opportunity to represent a national and international client base. Successful candidates will have 1 to 3 years of intellectual property litigation experience. Those with a background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience as a federal judicial law clerk is also preferred. The position is hybrid, with the expectation of 2-3 days in the office.
Location:

Duties:
Focus on patent litigation for a wide-ranging national and international client base.
Handle various intellectual property disputes with a concentration on patent law.
Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies.
Represent clients in hearings, trials, and court proceedings.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
Maintain a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in the office).
Requirements:
1 to 3 years of intellectual property litigation experience, with a focus on patent law.
Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Motivated to succeed in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Excellent academic credentials.
Certifications:
Admission to the relevant state bar.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of patent litigation.
A background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science is highly encouraged.
Strong legal research, writing, and analysis skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
