Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm located in Detroit, MI, seeks a skilled Corporate Securities Attorney with 5-12 years of relevant experience. The role emphasizes handling regulatory filings and compliance matters associated with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Nasdaq, and the OTC Markets Group. Applicants must either hold a Michigan license or be eligible for admission without examination.

Duties:

• Prepare and submit filings for the SEC, FINRA, NYSE, Nasdaq, and OTC Markets Group

• Advise corporate clients on securities compliance and related regulatory matters

• Conduct due diligence reviews related to public and private offerings

• Guide corporate governance practices and disclosure obligations

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of securities transactions

• Stay updated on evolving securities laws and regulatory changes impacting client operations

Requirements:

• 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in corporate securities work

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex securities filings independently

• Keen attention to detail with a strong organizational approach

• Proven commitment to delivering high-quality legal services

• Strong client relationship management and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across different practice groups

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan or eligibility for admission without examination

Skills:

• Proficiency in securities regulatory frameworks and filings

• Ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory concepts
