A law firm seeks a dynamic and proactive Practice Innovation Attorney to join their team in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence and other innovative technologies into legal practices, enhancing productivity and client outcomes.

Duties

  • Collaborate with attorney practice groups and cross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative technology solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate attorneys and business professionals on legal technologies and AI solutions.
  • Curate resources and best practices for effective use of legal technologies.
  • Provide research support through the firm's AI program and traditional methods.
  • Monitor emerging legal technologies and identify innovation opportunities.
  • Create alerts for monitoring legal or industry topics.
  • Identify training opportunities by analyzing research data.
  • Develop and present training sessions, accommodating international schedules.
  • Assist with reviewing and analyzing information resource contracts.
  • Support other projects or duties as assigned, including after-hours research monitoring.

Requirements

  • JD degree required; Master's Degree in Library Science preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a corporate or litigation attorney, or legal researcher.
  • Experience with advanced legal technologies, particularly AI and automation.
  • Strong command of technology and interest in innovation.
  • Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at multi-tasking and prioritization.
  • Service-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in organizational and team growth mindsets.
  • Highly collaborative with a focus on knowledge sharing.
  • Comfortable with continuous learning and change.

Education

  • JD degree required.
  • Master's Degree in Library Science preferred.
