A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Real Estate Title & closing team. Duties:

  • Review and analyze real estate title reports, ensuring compliance and identifying issues that may arise in transactions.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of closing documents for real estate transactions.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of real estate closings, including working with clients, lenders, and title agents.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to resolve any title issues before closing.
  • Advise clients on legal issues related to property transactions, including title concerns and contract issues.
  • Prepare and review contracts, deeds, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant real estate laws and regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the closing process, ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in real estate law, particularly with title work and closings.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience handling client interactions and providing clear legal advice.
  • Ability to handle complex transactions and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and tools related to real estate transactions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to review and analyze real estate titles with accuracy.
  • Strong client service skills, with a focus on clear communication and problem resolution.
  • Knowledge of real estate regulations and legal procedures related to closings.
