Duties

• Lead a diverse docket of Florida premises liability and civil defense cases from intake through resolution.
• Serve as the primary contact for insurance carriers, TPAs, and national clients.
• Develop case strategies and resolution plans aligned with client expectations.
• Handle all phases of litigation in Florida state and federal courts.
• Supervise and mentor associates and support staff.
• Leverage firm technology and case management tools for efficiency.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on client development and practice growth.

Requirements

• Significant litigation experience (10+ years) with a focus on civil defense.
• Substantial premises liability experience preferred.
• Experience working directly with insurance carriers and national clients.
• Track record as lead counsel in depositions, mediations, and trials in Florida.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with legal technology and case management systems.

Education

• Juris Doctor

• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
