Duties

• Advise clients on their rights, obligations, and potential legal outcomes across a variety of legal issues.
• Keep up to date with changes in legislation and case law relevant to probate, real estate, municipal, and transactional matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality service and comprehensive legal support.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing them with updates and gathering necessary information for their cases.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong background in probate, real estate, municipal law, and/or other transactional areas.
• Proven litigation experience with a history of successful case results.
• Skilled in using legal research tools like Westlaw.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Iowa.
