The attorney will play a crucial role in energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions, primarily focusing on renewable power and energy transition. Responsibilities include drafting primary deal documents, leading complex diligence, managing deal teams, interacting with clients, and meeting the demands of a fast-paced practice. Admission to one or more State Bars is required.

Duties:

• Handle energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions
• Draft primary deal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements, financing agreements, and joint venture agreements
• Lead complex diligence processes
• Manage junior associates and internal specialist teams
• Interact with clients and maintain high-quality work product
• Stay updated on energy regulatory matters, project real property, permitting requirements, offtake agreements, interconnection agreements, and other commercial project contracts

Requirements:

• Admission to one or more State Bars
• 4+ years of experience with the project development and finance group

Education:

Juris Doctor degree

Certifications:

Admission to one or more State Bars
