Duties:

• Engage in strategic case analysis, legal research, and drafting of pleadings and motions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop and execute litigation strategies
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed on case developments
• Ensure the timely management of case files and deadlines, adhering to all procedural requirements
• Assist in guiding junior associates and legal staff on case matters

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage a plus
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Demonstrated excellence in legal work and client service early in your career
• Strong communication and advocacy skills for client interaction and court appearances

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York Bar, in good standing
