A law firm seeks an experienced attorney in Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Litigation to join their team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigating complex medical negligence and nursing home abuse cases, with excellent skills in case strategy, trial advocacy, and client communication.

Duties

• Litigate medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases.
• Develop and execute case strategies.
• Conduct expert witness workups and medical record reviews.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions and trials.
• Negotiate with defense counsel and present cases to juries.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in relevant cases.
• Proven trial experience with knowledge of Florida Evidence Code and Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Education

• J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing required.

Skills
