Business Engagement Coordinator

The candidate collaborates with firm counsel, conflicts attorneys, and firm administrators to define the scope of confidential mergers, combinations, PLAF, and new hire searches in addition to client matters. Analyze information within requests from attorneys to determine how to extract the information from the related parties' database to produce the most accurate result set based on knowledge of data. Analyzes final conflict reports by making key decisions as to what parties may be producing false positives to assist the conflict attorneys in conflict clearance. Clears the false positives to provide accurate reporting. Responsible for confirming that engagement letters attached to business accurately reflect the client as defined by the original conflicts search. Coordinates with attorneys and LAAs to gain appropriate documentation before opening a new business. Communicates with attorneys and firm employees when presented with questions regarding conflicts, business intake process, and engagement. Performs other duties as assigned. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Highly professional with a strong customer service orientation, commitment to meeting deadlines, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Should have strong professional, independent thinking skills with strength in problem-solving and the ability to offer constructive opinions and creative solutions.
