This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional with a solid grounding in corporate lending, fund finance, and structured financial transactions. Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, credit facilities, and ancillary documents for complex fund finance transactions

• Guide clients through subscription-based and asset-backed financing arrangements, especially those linked to real estate and private equity

• Collaborate with attorneys across transactional disciplines to facilitate cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals

• Serve as a key liaison between financial institutions, fund sponsors, and internal stakeholders during transaction lifecycles

• Conduct legal due diligence and oversee closings, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and financial covenants

• Provide strategic legal insight on structuring and risk mitigation for institutional lending deals

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of focused experience in fund finance, corporate lending, or related financial transactions

• Demonstrated proficiency in handling subscription line facilities, NAV-based lending, and other structured finance vehicles

• Prior exposure to legal work involving real estate funds or private investment vehicles is preferred

• Ability to operate independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of market trends in fund finance

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Advanced drafting and negotiation skills in complex finance agreements

• Strong legal research and analytical abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Capacity to manage multiple time-sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment
