Location:

• Bakersfield, California

Duties:

• Advocate for clients in workers’ compensation proceedings from initial consultation through case resolution

• Conduct in-depth legal research and develop strategic approaches for case success

• Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, and settlement discussions

• Foster strong relationships with clients through regular, clear communication

• Prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery

• Collaborate with legal support staff to prepare and strengthen cases

• Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal assistants as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of focused experience in workers’ compensation law

• Demonstrated success in case strategy, negotiation, and litigation

• Commitment to high-quality client service and legal excellence

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a significant caseload

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities

• Strong legal research and analytical thinking

• Proficient in drafting persuasive legal documents and case materials

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Experience with legal software and case management systems (preferred)
