A highly respected New York-based plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and general negligence claims. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Manhattan, offering a dynamic opportunity for a motivated attorney to advance their career while working in a fast-paced, supportive legal environment.

Location

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload of approximately 120 active personal injury cases

• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, providing updates at least every 60 days

• Conduct file reviews to ensure case progress and compliance with deadlines

• Draft and file complaints, motions, pleadings, discovery demands and responses

• Attend and conduct depositions, court conferences, mediations, and hearings

• Identify and monitor statutes of limitation

• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in representing clients

• Collaborate with team members and contribute to firm-wide case strategies

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling personal injury litigation

• Experience managing a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Demonstrated client service focus and a positive, team-oriented attitude

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to take initiative and tackle a variety of legal responsibilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar

• Additional language proficiency (Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Skills

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Courtroom and deposition experience

• Strong oral and written advocacy

• Client communication and case management

• Legal research and litigation strategy

• Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities preferred but not required
