A reputable and expanding law firm in Fort Lee, NJ is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Associate Attorney to handle a broad range of complex litigation matters. The role is ideal for an attorney with 15+ years of experience who is looking for a leadership opportunity, including the potential for partnership. This position involves high-level legal responsibilities across multiple practice areas, including commercial litigation, estate planning, trusts, and family law. A successful candidate will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, demonstrate a client-first mindset, and contribute to business development efforts through client retention and relationship building.

Handle a diverse caseload of litigation matters with minimal supervision
Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Conduct comprehensive legal research using Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw
Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Collaborate with the managing partner and senior attorneys on litigation strategies
Maintain organized case files and manage case progress
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting multiple practice areas
Engage with prospective and existing clients, with opportunities to build a book of business
Represent the firm externally with professionalism and integrity
Minimum of 15 years of litigation experience across multiple practice areas
Strong background in commercial litigation, estate planning, and/or family law
Prior experience managing complex cases independently
Demonstrated ability to acquire and retain clients
Experience running or managing a law practice is a plus
Willingness to integrate into a team and align with the firm’s culture and values
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in New Jersey (required)
Admission to the New York Bar (preferred)
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
