Location:

• Warren, NJ

Duties:

• Represent clients and municipalities in municipal court matters including traffic violations, ordinance violations, and minor criminal offenses

• Appear in court regularly for hearings, trials, and plea negotiations

• Draft and file legal documents such as motions, complaints, and court orders

• Provide legal advice to municipal officials and clients on applicable laws and procedures

• Collaborate with partners and other associates on case strategy and legal research

• Conduct investigations, witness interviews, and pre-trial preparations

• Maintain detailed and organized case files and records

Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of experience handling municipal court matters or related litigation

• Strong oral advocacy skills and courtroom confidence

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple court appearances

• Must submit salary expectations and three professional references for consideration

• Bilingual skills are a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of New Jersey
