A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in Cleveland, OH, with remote work options available in IL, PA, or OH. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and will support the firm's Chicago practice.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, briefs, and petitions.
• Manage a litigation caseload, including some litigation.
• Travel throughout Illinois for administrative and court appearances.
• Appear at administrative hearings and trial court conferences.
• Attend real estate valuation training and industry conferences.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in Illinois and in good standing.
• 3-7 years of experience, preferably in property tax law.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness for professional growth.
• Detail-oriented with effective caseload management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
