Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Health Care Practice Group. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare law, including both corporate and regulatory aspects, with a focus on providing comprehensive legal services to clients in the healthcare industry. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, handle complex legal matters, and contribute to the growth of the firm’s practice.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on a variety of healthcare-related issues, including corporate and regulatory matters.

• Advise clients on compliance with healthcare laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA, and more.

• Represent healthcare providers in regulatory matters and disputes involving state and federal healthcare regulations.

• Review and interpret healthcare-related contracts, regulations, and laws.

• Support clients in navigating complex healthcare regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, and state licensing laws.

• Assist with litigation when necessary, and provide support on various legal matters within healthcare law.

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to address healthcare industry challenges with creative legal solutions.

• Demonstrate strong communication and client service, responding promptly and effectively to client needs.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in health care law with a strong focus on corporate and regulatory matters.

• Familiarity with key healthcare laws and regulations such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA/HITECH, EMTALA, HCQIA, Medicare/Medicaid, and state licensing laws.

• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for clients.

• Previous experience in litigation is a plus.

• Commitment to exceptional client service and responsiveness.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of Pennsylvania or the ability to become licensed in Pennsylvania.
