Duties

• Manage a caseload at various phases of litigation, from pre-suit through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategic case plans.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement documents.
• Take and defend depositions; attend hearings, mediations, and related proceedings.
• Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within the legal team.
• Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.

Requirements

• 2-10 years of relevant experience.
• Active Illinois Bar license (Missouri license preferred or ability to obtain).
• Experience in Workers' Compensation and/or Personal Injury litigation.
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and move cases forward proactively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general case management software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active Illinois Bar license.
