Duties

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through trial

• Draft and negotiate settlement demands

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Conduct legal research and draft supporting memoranda

• Represent clients at mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and court appearances

• Engage in trial preparation alongside senior attorneys

• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff

• Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation preferred

• Strong interest in trial work and litigation

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal setting

• Must be detail-oriented, collaborative, and client-focused

• Driven, self-motivated, and eager to take initiative

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-approved or California-approved law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills

• Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presence

• Strong legal research and writing skills

• Proficiency in motion practice and discovery disputes

• Experience conducting and defending depositions

• Effective case management and time organization
