Duties:
Represent federal employees in a range of employment-related legal matters
Provide legal counsel and develop strategies in cases involving EEO, MSPB, OPM Disability, Civilian Veterans Affairs, and Social Security Disability
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and administrative hearings
Manage caseloads independently and maintain communication with clients
Stay current on relevant laws and federal agency procedures
Requirements:
3–5 years of legal experience, with a focus on labor and employment law
Demonstrated experience in federal employment legal matters
Strong negotiation and litigation skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote setting
Excellent legal research and writing capabilities
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Eligible for admission to relevant federal courts or administrative bodies
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of EEO processes, OPM Disability, MSPB procedures, and federal employment regulations
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a client-focused environment
Proficiency with legal research databases and case management tools
