Duties

• Conduct initial file reviews and draft evaluations and discovery plans.
• Depose and defend party depositions.
• Collaborate with paralegals to review and summarize medical records.
• Maintain client contact and provide timely reporting.
• Retain and consult with expert witnesses.
• Take and defend expert witness depositions.
• Perform legal research and draft memoranda as needed.
• Prepare trial documents and participate in trials.

Requirements

• Active California State Bar license.
• 5-20 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and knowledge of discovery rules.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar license.
