Duties

  • Conduct paid strategy consultations with prospective clients via Zoom.
  • Evaluate complex fact patterns and present clear immigration pathways.
  • Collaborate with an intake sales specialist during consultations.
  • Convert consultations into retained clients through education and empathy.
  • Maintain a 60%+ conversion rate across consultations.
  • Handle consultations across family-based, employment-based, humanitarian, and non-immigrant work visas.
  • Identify misdiagnoses or missed opportunities from prior counsel.
  • Integrate with internal workflows for handoff to paralegals and case teams.
  • Contribute to revenue growth through excellent diagnosis and communication.
  • Help develop and refine consultation frameworks for the firm.
  • Train additional attorneys on consult methodology, if desired.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in immigration law (family, employment-based, humanitarian).
  • Ability to assess multiple immigration paths in real time.
  • Enjoy collaborating with non-attorney intake/sales teams.
  • Capable of handling both anxious families and sophisticated business clients.
  • High judgment, high emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the United States.

Skills

  • Strong diagnostic and consultative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with tech-enabled tools (e.g., Docketwise, Lawmatics).
