A law firm seeks a Strategic Transactions and Licensing Associate to join their Bay Area office in Redwood City, CA. The associate will work with leading venture-backed startups and venture capital firms across various industries, gaining expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of a company.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate licensing, partnering, and commercial agreements.
• Provide intellectual property, privacy, and business/product counseling to clients.
• Manage transactions from formation to financings and acquisitions.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial contracts drafting and negotiation, venture financing, or M&A transactions.
• Involvement in intellectual property disputes is advantageous.
• Admission to the State Bar of California or State Bar of Texas.
• Superior academic credentials from a top law school.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Previous large law firm experience required.

Education

• JD 2020-2023.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California or State Bar of Texas.
