A well-established law firm in Louisville, KY, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Trial Attorney with a strong background in premises liability litigation. This opportunity involves managing a high caseload with active litigation responsibilities and leading jury trials to verdict. Duties:

• Manage a high-volume caseload (~150 matters, with ~50 in active litigation monthly)

• Handle litigation from intake through resolution or jury verdict

• Maintain proactive and clear communication with clients throughout the legal process

• Conduct depositions, draft legal motions, and participate in mediations

• Formulate litigation strategies tailored to individual cases

• Act as lead trial attorney in jury trials, advocating directly on behalf of clients

• Collaborate closely with case managers and paralegals to ensure timely progress on files

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil matters

• Preference for 5-8 years of relevant experience, especially in plaintiff-side litigation

• Minimum of 5 first-chair jury verdicts required; 10+ preferred

• In-depth understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

• Active license and good standing with the Kentucky State Bar

• Admission to multiple state bars is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky

• Additional State Bar admissions are preferred

Skills:

• Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presence

• Excellent legal research and writing capabilities

• Skilled in case strategy and client engagement

• Adept at multitasking in a high-volume litigation setting

• Proficient with legal technology and case management tools
