Florida Bar admission is required, and union background experience would be helpful.

Job Duties:

• Provide legal representation and counsel to labor unions in both public and private sectors.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and administrative hearings.
• Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to support labor union objectives.
• Advise clients on labor law compliance, policy development, and related matters.
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support cases.
• Collaborate with colleagues and union representatives to achieve client goals.
• Stay current with developments in labor law and related fields.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing.
• Excellent writing, research, litigation, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strong interest in working for the labor movement.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and courtroom presentation.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar.
