A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney, Litigation to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of partners, manage cases from start to finish, and serve as a primary contact for clients and opposing counsel. Duties

• Work directly under firm partners on civil litigation matters
• Manage cases from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare written advocacy
• Appear at hearings, take and defend depositions, and assist in trials
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Arizona
• 1-7 years of civil litigation experience preferred
• Demonstrated case management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to learn and grow within the firm
• Experience in real property or insurance coverage law preferred

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Arizona
