Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of litigation experience and a passion for advocating on behalf of consumers. This role offers immediate exposure to various phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, and depositions.

Duties

• Draft and review written discovery and document productions.
• Participate in e-discovery and document review.
• Draft motions related to discovery disputes.
• Prepare for and participate in oral arguments.
• Attend and defend client depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and higher-stakes depositions.

Requirements

• California Bar license in good standing.
• Up to 1-year of litigation experience as a California licensed attorney.
• Willingness to learn and apply technology solutions.
• Proficient in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel within California.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• California Bar license.

Skills

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
