A law firm seeks a Public Finance Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their team. This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates willing to become licensed in California.

Duties

• Assist clients with municipal finance matters, including serving as bond, underwriters, and disclosure counsel.
• Manage the issuance of revenue, general obligation, refinancing, and other bond and municipal financing matters.
• Handle related tax matters and complex, multi-party transactions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in municipal finance.
• Strong transactional background with excellent writing skills.
• Experience or commitment to public finance.
• Experience with Proposition 218 preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney or commitment to become licensed in California.

Skills

• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work on complex, multi-party transactions.
