Job Overview:
A highly respected national law firm is seeking Associate Attorneys with 2 to 5 years of tort litigation experience to join its Product Liability & Mass Torts practice group. This team is widely recognized for handling high-profile individual, class action, and multidistrict litigation on behalf of product manufacturers across diverse industries. Attorneys in this role will be integral members of collaborative trial teams operating in some of the most complex and challenging jurisdictions in the country.

Location:

• Washington, D.C.

Duties:

• Serve as a key member of trial teams handling significant tort litigation, including product liability and mass tort cases

• Draft and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents

• Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy development

• Assist with all aspects of discovery, including depositions and expert witness preparation

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure effective case management

• Support trial preparation and participate in high-impact litigation efforts

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in tort litigation

• Relevant background in product liability, mass torts, and/or toxic/environmental torts

• Prior experience in a large law firm or similarly complex litigation setting

• Excellent academic credentials

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the preferred office location

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar

• Must meet eligibility for local bar admission where applying
