A law firm seeks an experienced Business Transactional Lawyer in Owings Mills, MD. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of advising both start-up and established businesses, including for-profit and non-profit entities. This role requires a professional capable of working effectively with clients and colleagues in a collaborative environment.

Duties

• Manage a wide array of corporate matters.
• Handle all aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate partnership and business agreements.
• Advise on and prepare documents for succession plans.
• Prepare corporate documents such as by-laws and corporate minutes.
• Provide strategic legal advice aligning with business objectives.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in business transactions.
• Strong background in advising start-up ventures and established companies.
• Experience with government contractors and non-profit organizations is desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of mergers and acquisitions, partnership agreements, and corporate governance.
• Maryland bar license required; additional bars, including D.C., are a bonus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
