Intern should be concurrently enrolled in courses at a local university. Daily responsibilities include answering constituent phone calls, researching legislation and policy issues for the Member and legislative staff, attending hearings and briefings, drafting social media posts and constituent correspondence, and conducting tours of the Capitol. This internship opportunity provides students a unique educational experience, where they get hands-on experience working in the Legislative branch, while expanding their professional network. Operate from early-January through mid-May.
