A law firm seeks a Transportation and Tort Litigation Attorney in Detroit, MI. Duties

• Handle complex litigation matters independently.
• Engage in client contact and manage client relationships.
• Draft pleadings, take depositions, and argue motions.
• Conduct legal research and write briefs.
• Manage cases involving Michigan no-fault, third-party, and commercial auto liability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of litigation experience, preferably in defense matters.
• Experience in transportation law and litigation practice, including PIP and SIU.
• Courtroom experience in Michigan state and/or federal courts.
• Knowledge of local rules and court procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Michigan Bar in good standing.
