Duties:

  • Manage small to mid-sized legal matters with moderate partner supervision.
  • Handle portions of larger, more complex entertainment industry matters.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate acquisition, development, production, distribution, and financing agreements (debt and equity) for film, television, new media, and audio projects.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations of entertainment industry assets.
  • Provide legal advice on intellectual property rights relevant to the entertainment industry.
  • Participate in negotiations and settlements related to entertainment transactions.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to the Bar in California or New York.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in entertainment law.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage legal matters with moderate partner supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in California or New York.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of entertainment law, with a focus on film, television, video game, and audio-related legal issues.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating a variety of entertainment-related agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
