Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft employment-related pleadings.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Draft oppositions to motions and appear in court for hearings.
• Develop case strategies with the Managing Attorney.
• Evaluate and calculate damages for various claims.
• Maintain regular communication with clients.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law or civil rights.
• Familiarity with Nevada labor statutes and employment laws.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and client relationship management.
• Proactive and organized with deadline management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active Nevada State Bar membership.
