A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in general real estate transactions, including purchase and sale, joint venture, and financing transactions. Experience in commercial leasing is highly preferred.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy.
• Draft well-written legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist in managing complex cases and transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing support and regular updates.
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop innovative transaction strategies.
• Participate in high-level legal activities, including client calls and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in general real estate transactions.
• Experience in commercial leasing is highly preferred.
• Strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school.
• Prior experience in a large or mid-sized law firm.
