Senior Manager, Tax ESG

Duties: Advise businesses on latest developments with respect to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and the intersection of Tax and ESG. Professionals will lead discussions with clients on how companies can prepare for the upcoming tax transparency reporting requirements. Advise clients on the role of ESG standard setters and rating agencies and how companies ESG tax ratings compare against peers and across industries. Prepare, review and deliver benchmarking analyses, gap analyses and roadmaps to assist clients in developing their tax transparency strategies, disclosures and policies and procedures. Advise client on developing optimal reporting for tax payments and assist with capturing global tax payments, including income, payroll, VAT/GST and other indirect taxes. Collaborate with other KPMG teams to provide cross functional services including credits and incentives, supply chain optimization, governance, environmental modeling; in collaboration with our colleagues in Mergers & Acquisition Tax, provide ESG due diligence support. Collaborate with professionals from other geographies; participate in national training sessions, go-to-market activities, developing thought leadership articles.
