Job Overview:
The law firm seeks a dynamic and experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to provide legal representation and support to clients in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional advocacy skills, a thorough understanding of personal injury law, and a commitment to delivering ethical and effective legal solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and guidance to clients in personal injury cases
• Find ethical solutions to legal matters while adhering to professional standards
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers on behalf of clients
• Handle PIP recorded statements and PIP Examinations Under Oath
• Manage case management from inception to completion
• Stay informed about current legislation and case law relevant to personal injury cases
• Build trustworthy relationships with clients through effective communication and representation
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions accurately and efficiently
• Argue motions and cover depositions as required
• Market firm services in the community and as otherwise necessary
• Review, modify, and draft various legal documents, including demand letters, subpoenas, and memorandums
• Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end
• Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretaries
• Arrange suitable agreements and settle on clients' behalf when appropriate
• Appear as legal counsel on clients' behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation

Requirements:

• Florida licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an attorney handling personal injury cases or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a prosecutor or public defender
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior oral and written advocacy skills
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Proficiency in computers is vital
• State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory.
• Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued.
• A good understanding of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired
