The candidate will be advising the businesses on relevant legal and market developments and Citi policies. Partnering with businesses in recommending, developing and executing business plans. Leading transactional negotiations. Working closely with control function partners, internal review committees, and industry organizations. Should have approximately 8+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or in-house legal department at a large bank or financial services company. JD degree required, with New York bar admission. Ability to prioritize work, understand business issues, and effectively handle many issues simultaneously. Ability to interact effectively with senior business and legal management, and develop collaborative relationships with control function partners. Ability to work independently, take responsibility, handle tight deadlines, and make decisions. Effective and efficient problem solver; strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
