Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to handle civil and commercial litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to advocate for clients in court, draft legal documents, and provide strategic legal counsel while working in a collaborative environment.

Duties:

• Represent clients in Superior and Federal courts.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

• Advise clients on litigation strategies and legal options.

• Negotiate settlements and manage dispute resolution processes.

• Conduct depositions and present motions in court.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal regulations and standards.

• Oversee case management and administrative tasks related to legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in civil litigation.

• Proficiency in Arizona and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure; knowledge of the appellate process is a plus.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively litigate cases.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona.

Skills:

• Legal research and writing proficiency.

• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

• Courtroom advocacy and litigation techniques.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
