Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery attorney through a legal recruiting partner. This non-partnership track position focuses on managing eDiscovery operations for complex disputes. Duties:
Handle eDiscovery processes in high-stakes litigation and investigations
Coordinate project plans and timelines, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
Draft and negotiate discovery protocols, stipulations, and procedural agreements
Act as liaison with case teams, clients, and vendors to manage discovery execution
Provide strategic guidance on data collection and preservation procedures
Develop and monitor budgets for document review, including revenue forecasting and invoice oversight
Establish workflows for document review and quality control procedures
Oversee review teams and train legal professionals to maintain performance benchmarks
Supervise and finalize document productions in line with legal standards
Contribute to a positive and productive team environment
Requirements:
Licensed to practice in Washington State
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery within a law firm, in-house legal department, or government setting
Familiarity with the litigation life cycle and all phases of the EDRM
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously under strict deadlines
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited institution
Skills:
Strong analytical and writing proficiency
Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
Skilled in drafting legal documents and managing procedural compliance
High emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively across teams
Comfortable leading meetings and interfacing with clients and senior attorneys
Capacity to work independently while fostering collaboration
Familiarity with document review tools and related technology
