A law firm is seeking a Senior Trademark Attorney for their Denver, CO location.

Job Overview:

The Senior Trademark Attorney will be responsible for providing expert counsel to clients on trademark matters, managing trademark applications, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in various trademark-related proceedings.

Duties:

• Counsel clients to suggest optimal strategies for their trademark needs
• Lead research, analysis, and communication of trademark search results to clients
• File new trademark applications and prepare copyright applications
• Assist clients in obtaining appropriate specimens of use for Statements of Use and Renewals, and file necessary documents
• Research and prepare persuasive Responses to Office Actions from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Proactively monitor clients' trademarks for infringement
• Prepare Letters of Protest, Cease and Desist letters, or other correspondence as required
• Draft legal documents and provide counsel in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board matters
• Undertake other projects as assigned by the firm

Requirements:

• License to practice law required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the state of Colorado

Skills:

• Proficiency in trademark law and procedures
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board matters is preferred
