Duties:

• Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions, including the sale, purchase, and development of commercial properties.
• Handle financing and secured transactions, title reviews, and permitting.
• Negotiate commercial leases and deal with corporate structuring related to real estate matters.
• Provide expertise in tax planning for real estate transactions.
• Advise on environmental considerations and compliance related to real estate projects.
• Represent and advise condominium associations in formation and ongoing legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal agreements related to real estate.
• Stay updated on market trends and legal changes to provide innovative, practical advice to clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on transactional work and business law.
• Strong background in financing, secured transactions, and title review.
• Proficiency in negotiating commercial leases and handling construction-related legal issues.
• Expertise in tax planning and environmental regulations for real estate transactions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex transactions.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with other legal professionals.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.
