Senior Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Senior Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to work closely with the office's established team of litigators. The ideal candidate will be admitted to the Nevada Bar and possess 7+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting. While there is a preference for candidates with labor and employment experience, individuals with general civil litigation experience are also welcome. This role requires excellent legal research and writing skills, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. The annual billing requirement for this position is 1,900 hours, with additional bonuses for hours worked in excess of this minimum.

Duties:

• Collaborate with the existing team of litigators.
• Handle labor and employment matters or general civil litigation as needed.
• Conduct legal research and produce well-written legal documents.
• Provide effective legal representation and counsel.
• Communicate and interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and the court.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Nevada Bar.
• 7+ years of legal experience.
• Preference for labor and employment experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Nevada State Bar.
