Patent Associate - Biotech

The candidate should be a registered patent attorney with a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology or immunology. Strong academic credentials, excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably having at least four years of prior patent prosecution experience. Experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of molecular biology, immunology, immunooncology, genetics, and agricultural biotechnology would be particularly useful. Associates typically work one-on-one with partners, gain a depth of experience in a broad range of patent strategy, drafting, prosecution and diligence matters, and get immediate client contact. Such experience has contributed to the firm’s consistently excellent rankings in various national satisfaction surveys and industry recognition lists.
