WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are hiring for multiple Flyknit Engineer II openings!
This role is made for someone who is passionate about athletic footwear that hits the highest performance and sustainability standards at Nike! A successful candidate will need to perform in a fast paced, matrixed organization and operate independently with minimal guidance. You will also need to be a phenomenal teammate and proficient multi-tasker working on products across multiple seasons.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Flyknit Engineer II, you will be located at Nike’s WHQ in Beaverton, Oregon where you will be a key member of the Knit Product Creation (KPC) team and manage Flyknit product through development. You will also be responsible for working with the Nike Asia Flyknit team to ensure continuity and adherence to best practices between Knit Centers (KC) during product development and commercialization. In addition, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and improving existing best practices for FlyKnit product, defining and documenting procedures for all aspects of the manufacturing processes, supervising the execution and documentation of trial runs, and ensuring that all measurement data is collected. Strong communication skills are required as this role acts as the Project Manager responsible for keeping the Category/Dimension teams, Product Creation Centers (PCC) and KC’s up to speed on the latest developments and issue resolutions.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will serve as a bridge between the Nike WHQ Category/Dimension teams, Asia-based Product Creation Centers, and footwear factories. You will closely collaborate with a FlyKnit programmer to achieve the performance, cost, and sustainability target of the project. The role will be a key contact between teams globally; as well as, with other Nike internal business functions.
